The IIBA® New Brunswick Chapter is incorporated as a non-profit organization. The chapter was incorporated in June 2022 after achieving charter status.

The IIBA® New Brunswick Chapter is entirely volunteer-run. The organization's formal membership plays a key role in its governance, including electing the Board of Directors, amending its bylaws, and informing its strategic direction. Only IIBA® New Brunswick Chapter members in good standing are eligible to vote at the Chapter's annual general meeting and hold office.

The Chapter is run by a Board of Directors who are elected by Chapter members at the Annual General Meeting.

The Board meets on a regular basis to not only strategize and take care of general business but also to plan events, discuss guest speakers, and coordinate conference participation.

A list of the Chapter Officers is available. Copies of the executive meeting minutes can be obtained by contacting the Chapter President.
