Darren Brown
Vice President, Marketing and Communications / Interim Vice President, Sponsorship and Corporate Developement

Darren is an IT Manager with the Canada Revenue Agency. He has 30 years of professional experience planning, managing, delivering and supporting custom and commercial software solutions in both public and private sector organizations. He has a Computer Science degree from UNB and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) and ScrumMaster (CSM). Darren is also a past President of the PMI New Brunswick chapter (PMINB), having served on their board of directors for eight years.

Born in New Glasgow, NS, Darren grew up in Fredericton, NB and has also lived in Ottawa, ON and Moncton, NB. He currently calls Miramichi, NB home, with his wife of 28 years, two dogs and three cats. He enjoys golf, travel and craft beer, combining all three whenever possible.

Seun Richards

Seun Richards is a social entrepreneur, researcher, and community volunteer. He arrived in Canada on the 21st of July 2018 from Dubai, UAE where he lived for 8 years and worked for some Fortune 500 companies.

As an entrepreneur, he has established small businesses in 3 nations across 3 continents, namely Nigeria, United Arab Emirates, and now Canada. He is currently pursuing a doctorate degree at the University of New Brunswick under the supervision of economics Professor – Dr. Rob Moir. His thesis is focused on the Impacts of Entrepreneurship on Economic Development and Population Growth in Atlantic Canada.

Patience Kanu

Patience is a successful Business Analyst with over a decade of experience in requirement engineering, digital and business transformation in the Wholesale and Retail Trade industry and Financial sector. She holds a Masters in Organizational Management and is a great communicator and motivator who is passionate about team building, and excellence.
